EFC Clinic 2025 strengthened employer awareness on compliance with new employment law reforms
The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) held its second clinic for 2025 in the EFC Auditorium in Rajagiriya,on 19th August 2025 with great success.
Raising member companies’ understanding of the new legislation pertaining to the National Minimum Wage and the Budgetary Relief Allowance was the program’s main goal. In order to assure compliance and help employers comprehend their practical implications, these concepts were covered in detail.
The EFC’s Director General, Mr. Vajira Ellepola, led the session and created an interactive and engaging forum. Company representatives had the opportunity to raise questions, share their experiences, and get answers on issues pertaining to employment related questions.
The seminar ended with a vibrant Q&A session when attendees further enhanced the information exchange by discussing a variety of other topics pertaining to employment law and HR practices in addition to raising questions about the recent legislative changes.
This program demonstrated the EFC’s determination to supporting companies comply with new labour laws and promote efficient and legitimate work practices.
